Canoa Beach(longest beach) is a white-sand paradise of 17 kilometers of tranquility, nature, and fun in the province of Manabí, near the City of Bahía de Caráquez and San Vicente. Ecotourism and excellent waves for surfers are some of the leading offers of this place.
The town has very active nightlife. Along the white-sand beaches are discos and restaurants where local dishes and drinks are served until late at night.
Its geography is conducive to parasailing by jumping from the cliff above the beach. On the north end, you pass through a cave that is the resting home of bats and blue-footed boobies that can be visited when the tide is low.
The beach is characterized by its extensive white sand covering about 17 kilometers in length, reaching Briceño and San Vicente’s beach.
You can also rent bicycles in some stores, and you can travel the bike path from Canoa – Briceño – San Vicente until you reach Bahia de Caraquez – cross the Los Caras bridge (the route is 15km). You can also visit the communities and towns near Canoa or other trails in the countryside.
The best time to surf is between December to May, when the waves reach more than two meters high and the conditions for surfing and swimming are the best.
